A night at the Opera

I think our blog has gone onto two pages as we have now uploaded some photos - so please don't forget to scroll down and look at previous pages. A&I xx

Last night we had a lovely evening at Sydney Opera House. We have a pre opera dinner at Aria which was very nice.
The sound from the opera house was phenomenal, we both said it was the best opera we have ever been to (La Traviata). We had very good seats. The set & costumes were amazing. When we left the opera house there was fireworks set off as the Aurora Cruise ship sailed away from Sydney Harbour. Unfortunately we have no photographs of last night as our new digital camera has broken, only 3 weeks old...... dont worry we will be getting a replacement today and we have Ians big SLR. Oh that reminds me, lets update some photos onto the site.

We had some fun on bondi beach today, the water was freezing, but we braved the ice cold pacific waters, waves & the stinging bluebottle jelly fish.......

Today we are going to Manly and The Aquarium, we did want to go to Blue Mountains, however there is still so much to see and do here.

Tonight we have a dinner at Tetsuyas, the 4th best Restaurant in the World & ranked the best Restaurant in Australia, so very much looking forward to this, booked about 6 months in advance!

Will report all tomorrow.

Bye for now
